West Ham United women’s team’s 32-page Official Programme for the visit of Brighton & Hove Albion in the Barclays Women's Super League is now on sale!
The Hammers take on the Seagulls on Sunday going in search of back-to-back home league victories for the second time this term, as they look to climb the WSL standings.
Inside the issue, we sit down with striker Shekiera Martinez. The Germany U23 international joined the Club in the summer but spent the first half of the campaign on loan at SC Freiburg, accumulating the necessary points to meet the Governing Body Endorsement (GBE) criteria for international player visas.
But since Martinez's return to Chadwell Heath in January, the forward has been near enough ever present in Rehanne Skinner's side, and she discusses how well she has settled into the team in such a short space of time, as well as talking about her earlier memories in football and her aspirations on the international stage.
Martinez's close friend and Hammers teammate Verena Hanshaw also features in the programme, as she talks through her Favourites - from food, to other sports and even her go-to karaoke song!
The issue also contains a catch-up with the West Ham United Foundation, as they announce the launch of their 2025 London Marathon campaign, with an ambitious goal to raise £50,000 in support of the transformative Beckton Community Hub redevelopment. There are also interviews with the three inspiring individuals who will be representing the Foundation on marathon day.
Plus, the programme also includes a deep dive into the weekend’s opposition, and words from Skinner and captain Katrina Gorry ahead of the game.
Programmes will be available to purchase at the match from sellers located inside the ground, priced at just £2. Supporters can also order their programme online for home delivery if they can't make it to Chigwell Construction Stadium, by clicking HERE!
A seasonal subscription package is also available to UK and Ireland customers only! This package covers eleven home WSL fixtures during the 2024/25 campaign, and all domestic cup editions.
All of the A5-size 32-page issues will be produced to a schedule that allows for a first-class mail out on the Friday before a weekend fixture, or on the day of the game for midweek fixtures, so subscribers should expect their orders to arrive no longer than three working days after the match.
The price for this treasured collection is just £45, including postage and packaging, and you can reserve your copy now via the Club’s official publishing partners Ignition Sports Media by clicking HERE!
