West Ham United women’s team can confirm that Marnie Morrison has joined Hashtag United on dual-registration terms.
The 19-year-old defender joins the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division leaders for the rest of the 2024/25 campaign to help them on their quest for promotion, after they finished second last term.
Morrison, who put pen to paper with the Hammers as part of the Professional Game Academy (PGA) programme in the summer, has made one senior appearance for the Club, which came in Rehanne Skinner’s side’s convincing 6-1 victory over Portsmouth in the Women’s League Cup in October.
Besides enjoying an impressive win on her debut, the former Arsenal youth player was crowned Player of the Match by Hammers fans that day, for her battling display at the heart of the Irons’ defence.
Morrison will now link up with her Hammers teammate Macey Nicholls, who remains on a dual-registration deal at the Tags after she won the FA Women's National League Cup with them last season.
Everyone at West Ham United would like to wish Marnie all the best during her time with the Tags.
