West Ham United women's team fell to a 5-2 defeat at the hands of Leicester City in the Perth International Football Cup third-place play-off on Sunday.
After being narrowly beaten by French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain in their opening clash Down Under on Thursday, the Hammers were unable to sign off from their ten-day tour with a share of the spoils against their fellow Barclays WSL side.
Manager Rehanne Skinner made four changes for the fixture against the Foxes, with Amber Tysiak, Marika Bergman Lundin, Dagný Brynjarsdóttir and Ruby Doe all coming into the starting XI.
Leicester took the lead inside the opening ten minutes of the match, when Yuka Momiki was able to capitalise on a mistake at the back and found the back of the net from close range.
Further goals from Sam Tierney, Missy Goodwin, Noemie Mouchon and Saori Takarada put Amandine Miquel's charges in a commanding position, before Viviane Asseyi notched two consolation strikes for West Ham late on.
