West Ham United women's were beaten 5-0 by Chelsea at Chigwell Construction Stadium in our first game of 2025.
Three goals in the first 45 minutes of the opening half put Sonia Bompastor's leaders into a commanding position by the half-way stage, then two more in the second period completed the scoring on a disappointing afternoon in east London.
Catarina Macario, Erin Cuthbert, Aggie Beever-Jones and Sandy Baltimore all fired clinical efforts past West Ham goalkeeper Kinga Szemik before Amber Tysiak turned into her own net late on.
