Matchday Gallery | Quickfire goals send Hammers to Villa defeat

Lucas Paquetá scored the first goal of the Graham Potter era to give West Ham United an early lead at Aston Villa, but a brace of quickfire goals in the second half saw the home side claim a 2-1 victory and knock us out of the FA Cup.

Paquetá struck with just nine minutes on the clock at Villa Park, finishing calmly with his left foot after Crysencio Summerville burst into the box to cut the ball back from the right.

West Ham held the lead until deep into the second period, but had their advantage erased when Amadou Onana stabbed home from close range in the 71st minute after a controversially-awarded corner caused havoc in the visitors' box.

Just four minutes later Villa scored a second to leave the Hammers stunned as Ollie Watkins advanced into the area and crossed low for Morgan Rogers to convert.
