Matchday Gallery | Hammers record biggest-ever WSL win against Palace

West Ham United women’s team beat Crystal Palace 7-1 on Sunday as they climbed into the top half of the Barclays Women's Super League table.

The bottom-of-the-table hosts fell victim to a 5-2 defeat to Rehanne Skinner’s side in the reverse fixture in December, and the Hammers had fired in three goals before half time at the VBS Community Stadium.

Shekiera Martinez made south London her playground as she scored four goals, three of which came in the first half as the German caused havoc for the Palace defence.

Viviane Asseyi then added a fifth with a fantastic chip from distance to further increase Skinner's side's advantage.

Katie Stengel fired in a penalty for the home side with ten minutes of normal time remaining, but Emma Harries would have the final say, scoring twice at the end of the game to seal West Ham's biggest ever WSL win.
