A summer storm in Jacksonville delayed West Ham United's Stateside Cup tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
Northeast Florida was hit by a huge storm at about 4.30pm local time, with thunder and lightning crashing overhead and the pitch being hit with a deluge of heavy rain.
The rain abated and warm-ups got underway, with an initial 30-minute delay announced, only for the inclement weather to return and a 'Code Blue' safety warning to see the pitch and stands cleared as thunder and lightning threatened.
After a further 60-minute delay, the weather improved sufficiently for a 9.05pm local time kick-off to be announced, just over two hours later than the original kick-off time!
