Matchday Gallery | Hammers fall to narrow Arsenal loss

West Ham United women's team cruelly fell on the wrong side of a 4-3 scoreline against Arsenal in the Barclays Women's Super League on Sunday.

Defender Amber Tysiak marked her return to the starting XI with aplomb, as she netted two goals in the opening 12 minutes of the game to put the Hammers into the ascendancy.

And while Chloe Kelly halved the deficit just before the interval, Shekiera Martinez finished off a swift counter-attack to restore the Irons' two-goal lead.

But the game swung in favour of the hosts, who scored three goals in the space of six second-half minutes to claim the three points at Meadow Park.
