West Ham United were defeated 4-3 in a see-saw contest at Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
A first half full of incident ended with the Hammers holding a 2-1 lead.
Alexander Isak struck first from the spot, converting with just six minutes on the clock after Vladimír Coufal had fouled Anthony Gordon in the box.
But the Hammers hit back strongly, equalising in the 21st minute when Lucas Paquetá played a ball through for Michail Antonio to finish coolly.
Then, in stoppage time, a quick free-kick ended with Jarrod Bowen setting up Mohammed Kudus to fire home.
It got better for the visitors three minutes into the second half, when Kudus played Bowen in on goal, and the No20 made no mistake to net his 19th goal of the campaign.
Newcastle came again though and got themselves back in the contest thanks to Isak's second penalty of the afternoon 13 minutes from time.
Six minutes later the game was all-square once again as Harvey Barnes was slipped through and he finished through Łukasz Fabiański's legs.
A see-saw game finally swung the home side's way in the final minute when Barnes swept home his second of the afternoon.
