West Ham United were defeated 3-0 by Chelsea at London Stadium on Saturday.
Already two goals down at the break to Nicolas Jackson's double, a difficult afternoon became even trickier two minutes after the restart when Cole Palmer finished precisely at the near post after running into space in the left channel.
Jackson had earlier netted twice inside the opening 18 minutes of the contest, scoring after being set up by Jadon Sancho and Moisés Caicedo, as the Irons slipped to a third home defeat from three at the start of the new campaign.
