West Ham United and Everton shared the points after Jake O'Brien's 90th minute goal cancelled out Tomáš Souček's precise low finish at Goodison Park.
The big Czech struck after 67 minutes to break the deadlock, finding the bottom right hand corner after collecting the ball inside the box.
But just as West Ham thought they would be taking the three points back home with them, O'Brien popped up with a close range header to ensure a final 1-1 scoreline.
Neither side were able to make a breakthrough before the interval - although Everton thought they were going to have the chance to do so right on half-time.
Beto went down in the box under a challenge by Dinos Mavropanos and referee Darren Bond pointed to the spot, but reversed his decision after a VAR check.
West Ham's best first half moment came through Jarrod Bowen, who forced a decent stop from Jordan Pickford with a stinging effort from 20 yards.
