Darren Bond has been confirmed as the referee for West Ham United’s Premier League trip to Everton on Saturday.

Affiliated to the Lancashire FA, Bond was promoted to Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) Select Group One ahead of the 2023/24 season, having gained vast experience in the EFL, where he has taken charge of over 300 games.

Also experienced as an assistant referee in both the EFL and Premier League, Bond first held the whistle in the top flight during Fulham's 1-0 win at Leicester City in January 2023, and he has since taken his tally of games in the competition to 20, including eleven this season.

He has never refereed a competitive West Ham fixture, but was the man in the middle when the Hammers edged RC Celta de Vigo on penalties at London Stadium in pre-season last summer. He has also been the fourth official at seven games involving the Irons, and the Video Assistant Referee at three.

Dan Robathan and Marc Perry have been named as the assistant referees for West Ham's last ever visit to Goodison Park, with Everton set to move to their new Bramley-Moore Dock home in the summer.

Robathan is an experienced official who has worked in the Premier League since 2018, and in the UEFA Europa League, Europa Conference League, Champions League qualifying and Nations League. He has featured as an assistant referee at a West Ham United Premier League match on four previous occasions this season, including the narrow home defeat to Newcastle United on Monday night.

Perry, meanwhile, is also a well-versed official with over 300 Premier League games under his belt. He has assisted at three Hammers fixtures this term, most recently the 2-0 home win over Leicester City at the end of February.

Ruebyn Ricardo will undertake fourth official duties on Saturday.

Ricardo, who, aged 25, became the youngest-ever Black referee to take charge of an EFL League Two fixture, between Crewe Alexandra and Swindon Town in April 2023, will work in the Premier League for the second time in his career, having also been the fourth official during West Ham's 1-1 draw at Aston Villa in January.

Experienced official Chris Kavanagh is set to oversee Video Assistant Referee duties, and he will be assisted by Scott Ledger.
