Marshall wins Premier League 2 September Player of the Month

West Ham United's Callum Marshall has been named Premier League 2 Player of the Month for September.

Marshall scored four goals in three PL2 games during September, taking his season's tally to 12 goals in nine matches across all competitions as a sensational month brought him the prestigious award.

Marshall’s impressive September started with a goal in a 3-1 home win over Everton on 1 September.

He then added a brace in a 3-3 draw against Southampton, before capping the month with his eighth PL2 goal of the season in the 2-2 draw against Manchester City last time out.

Marshall, who made his senior Northern Ireland debut against Denmark in June, has been called up for UEFA 2024 Euro Qualifiers against San Marino and Slovenia this week. 

In September, he also netted braces against Bristol Rovers in the EFL Trophy and Celtic in the Premier League International Cup.
