Marshall shortlisted for Premier League 2 September Player of the Month

West Ham United's Callum Marshall has been shortlisted for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for September.

Marshall has been in electric form across the month, scoring four goals in three PL2 games to take his season tally to 12 goals in nine matches across competitions.

The 18-year-old started with a goal in a 3-1 home win over Everton on 1 September.

He then added a brace in a 3-3 draw against Southampton, before capping the month with his eighth PL2 goal of the season in the 2-2 draw against Manchester City last time out.

Marshall, who made his senior Northern Ireland debut against Denmark in June 2023, has also netted braces against Bristol Rovers in the EFL Trophy and Celtic in the Premier League International Cup this month.

Also nominated for September’s award are Luca Barrington and Mark O'Mahony of Brighton & Hove Albion, Alfie Dorrington of Tottenham Hotspur, Omari Forson of Manchester United, Harry Gardiner of Sunderland, Callum Kavanagh of Middlesbrough and Tommi O'Reilly of Aston Villa.

A winner will be announced in due course.
