A special connection between Western Australia and West Ham United was further recognised by a change in the Club’s front-of-shirt sponsor for two Unmissable Tour fixtures Down Under.
West Ham’s principal partner Betway generously donated their sponsorship rights to principal charity partner DT38 Foundation for the Irons’ visit to Perth in mid-July.
DT38 Foundation was founded in memory of Perth-born Dylan Tombides, the promising Academy of Football player who passed away in 2014, aged just 20, after being diagnosed with testicular cancer three years previously.
The male cancer charity’s logo took pride of place on the front of West Ham’s 2023/24 Umbro home shirts for the goal-filled victories over Perth Glory and Tottenham Hotspur in front of a combined 75,000 fans at Optus Stadium.
Today you could own a piece of history by bidding on one of these shirts, which were worn by the likes of Jarrod Bowen, Pablo Fornals and Kurt Zouma.

All funds raised will go to DT38 Australia to further the Foundation’s mission to raise awareness and change the stigma associated with men’s health issues with a focus on testicular cancer.
