West Ham United can confirm that Levi Laing has joined EFL League Two side Cheltenham Town on a season-long loan.
Laing will bolster Cheltenham's defensive options as they aim to bounce straight back to League One following their relegation on the final day of last season.
The 21-year-old centre-back will look to learn from the Robins' senior players and develop his leadership skills, having captained West Ham United's U21s in their first two pre-season outings of the 2024/25 campaign.
Initially arriving on trial in January 2021, Laing's impressive performances with West Ham United U18s landed him his first professional contract in the summer of 2021. Since then, he has played in over 50 Premier League 2 matches with the U21s, while he made his debut for the first team in a UEFA Europa Conference League round of 16 second leg victory over AEK Larnaca in March 2023.
Everyone at West Ham United wishes Levi all the best in his first loan spell, and we look forward to seeing his continued development with Cheltenham Town.
