Mohammed Kudus has been named in the Ghana squad for their upcoming FIFA World Cup qualification matches.
The Black Stars resume their campaign, following a win and a loss in November's opening Group I fixtures, looking to give their hopes of reaching the 2026 finals in the United States, Canada and Mexico a boost.
First, Kudus' team will head to Bamako to take on Mali on Thursday 6 June (8pm BST), before hosting Central African Republic in Kumasi on Monday 10 June (8pm BST).
With only the group winners guaranteed a space in the 2026 tournament, Kudus and his Ghana teammates will be targeting a brace of valuable victories to end the 2023/24 campaign on a high.
Ghana are aiming to secure a sixth historic appearance at a World Cup finals. Their best performance to date came in South Africa in 2010, when they reached the quarter-finals.
Kudus has 32 caps and eleven goals for his country to his name, and has already appeared at three international tournaments - including the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
