Paul Konchesky is hoping that his side can make it back-to-back wins in the Barclays Women’s Super League on Sunday afternoon.
The Hammers welcome Reading to the Chigwell Construction Stadium in what is their fifth WSL fixture of the new season, their third match at home.
And after last weekend’s 2-1 victory over Aston Villa at Bescot Stadium, Konchesky’s side are looking to win two games in a row for the first time this season.
Kelly Chambers’ Reading side are yet to pick up points but did put in a spirited performance in a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal last weekend.

We’re looking forward to taking on Reading
We know that all of the matches in this division are really tough – there’s no easy matches.
I actually thought that Reading have been quite unlucky in some of their matches so far this season. Last time out against Arsenal, they were particularly impressive and were unfortunate not to get a goal in that game.
Our three matches with them last season were all very tough matches, but I believe we have enough to get a result against the on Sunday.
We’re really pleased with the progress that the team is making
It’s been a really good start from us and there have been real positives that we’ve been able to take in most of our matches this season.
We’ve had some brilliant individual accomplishments during the time since our last home match - Viviane (Asseyi) notched her first goal, Dagny (Brynjarsdottir) has scored three goals in three games, and Macca (Mackenzie Arnold) has made two very good penalty saves, that’s without the others that she saved in the shootout against London City Lionesses.
I think that everyone will be starting to see the way that we want to play and the characteristics that I want my team to show. Everyone is together at the moment, and that’s really good to see.
We have something to build on now after last weekend’s result.
It’s great to have Emma Snerle back involved
We’re really thrilled that Emma was able to get back out on the pitch last weekend, I thought she acquitted herself really well.
She’s worked incredibly hard during the off-season to make sure that she could get back to help us at the start of the season – it’s like having a new signing now that she is fit again.
When she got injured last season, I think she was just finding her feet in the division, so hopefully she can hit the ground running again.
The supporters can really make the difference for us at home
I think our fans have been fantastic so far this season – we’ve even had a pretty good following away from home.
Against Everton, the fans really gave us that little bit extra and helped the girls hang onto the win.
Their support is always greatly appreciated, and we’re looking forward to having the full force of the Hammers faithful behind us again.
