Following his loan transfer to West Ham United, we take a photographic journey through Kalvin Phillips' successful career with Wortley FC, Leeds United, Manchester City and England.
From growing up in Leeds, where he proved popular at Wortley FC and his schools, Phillips joined Leeds United, where he played over 200 times and helped the Whites win promotion to the Premier League in 2020.
That same year, the midfielder made his England debut in a UEFA Nations League tie against Denmark, before going on to help the Three Lions reach the final of UEFA Euro 2020, the quarter-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and win Player of the Year honours in 2020/21.
For Manchester City, who he joined in 2022, Phillips won five trophies in 18 months, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup.
Off the pitch, Phillips is known for his humility and decency, and for his concern about social justice issues.
A good guy and a very good player, Kalvin Phillips has tasted success wherever he has been, and now he is a Hammer!
