The West Ham United Junior Supporters' Board (JSB) met for an exciting session at the Chadwell Heath Training Ground on Monday 20 February 2025 during half-term.
This meeting provided an opportunity for the young Hammers, aged 11 to 16, to discuss new ideas and help shape the future of the Club’s junior experience.
The day began with an exclusive tour of the Chadwell Heath training facilities, led by Academy Secretary Trevor Lewin. in which JSB members explored the grounds where future West Ham stars train, gaining valuable insight into the Club’s player development programmes and the process of scouting new talent.
After the tour, the meeting officially started with a fun icebreaker activity from Ruth Kennedy, allowing members to bond and share experiences.
The JSB then discussed a range of exciting initiatives to improve the junior fan experience. These included ideas for new Junior Hammer workbooks, enhancing the Junior Hammers website and branding. The group also brainstormed plans for a Junior Hammer Day, where young fans could take part in activities such as penalty shootouts and the opportunity for junior fans to quiz West Ham Legends!
The next JSB meeting is set to continue building on these ideas and introduce more fun initiatives for young supporters. Stay tuned for more updates as the Junior Supporters’ Board works to make the matchday experience even better for all Junior Hammers!
