The West Ham United Junior Supporters' Board (JSB) convened for its third and final meeting of the 2023/24 season at the Chadwell Heath Training Ground on Thursday 8 August.
This meeting offered an opportunity for the young Hammers, aged 11 to 16, to further shape the future of the club by discussing key topics and sharing fresh ideas with Club staff.
The day kicked off with an exclusive tour of the Chadwell Heath facilities, led by Academy Secretary Trevor Lewin. The JSB members explored the grounds where future West Ham stars train, gaining insight into the Club's player development programmes and the values that define the Academy of Football.
Following the tour, the meeting officially began with a welcome and a fun icebreaker activity where members shared their summer experiences, getting to know each other a little better.
During the meeting, the JSB discussed ongoing initiatives and shared new ideas aimed at enhancing the fan experience. Topics discussed included improving the junior section of the club’s app and website, refining the mascot routes on matchdays, and developing a Junior Hammer lunch box to promote healthy eating.
The next JSB meeting is scheduled for later in the season, where new and existing members will reconvene to build on the progress made and introduce new initiatives to enhance the junior supporter experience.
