West Ham United women's team manager Rehanne Skinner is the latest guest to join the official West Ham United podcast, Iron Cast.
Skinner became the first female manager of the team in the Barclays Women's Super League era when she took over the reins in July.
After taking charge of her first five competitive matches, Skinner took some time during the international break to sit down with host Chris Scull and former West Ham United captain Gilly Flaherty, who joined Scull on the sofa at Rush Green.
The trio discussed the women's team's start to the new WSL season, which has seen them pick up four points from their first four matches.
Having also beaten Charlton Athletic in the Continental Tyres League Cup, it has been a positive start for Skinner's team, and the boss goes into detail about the attacking style she is implementing in east London.
Skinner also reflects on her journey as a coach, which began with Leicester City in 2004, and how much women's football has changed in the near-20 years that she has been involved in the game.
Flaherty, who made 177 appearances in the Barclays Women's Super League, was West Ham United's first captain when the side joined the WSL in 2018, and went onto make 102 appearances for the Club during her time in east London.
The former defender chats with Scull around moving to West Ham, the development of the women's team during her time with the Club and touches on leading the side out at Wembley Stadium for the 2019 Women's FA Cup final.
