West Ham United fan and well-known YouTube content creator Behzinga names his ultimate Hammers XI in the latest episode of Iron Cast, the Club’s official podcast.
The 28-year-old, whose real name is Ethan Payne, is known to millions around the world as one of seven members of the Sidemen, who have gained 20m subscribers with their gaming videos, skits and business endeavours.
Having grown up in Romford, into a family of West Ham supporters, Payne has been an Iron all his life, and has plenty of early memories of going to games at the Boleyn Ground.
In attendance at last year’s victorious UEFA Europa Conference League final in Prague, and still a regular visitor to London Stadium, he has endured plenty of thrills and spills over the last two decades or so, and watched a multitude of players take to the field in Claret and Blue.
It was therefore a tricky task to nail down his favourite West Ham XI, following a full-length interview with Iron Cast co-hosts Chris Scull and Anton Ferdinand, in which he discussed his love for the Club, his remarkable YouTube rise and even scoring at the home of the Hammers.
Among his picks, in a 4-3-3 formation, are four current members of David Moyes’ squad, a somewhat surprising selection in goal, and two former skippers in central midfield.
