Winger Manuela Paví started for Colombia in their 1-1 draw with Brazil at the Estádio Kléber Andrade in Cariacica.
Colombia took the lead inside six minutes when Galatasaray forward Catalina Usme robbed a Brazil defender and unleashed a long-range shot that deflected off Lauren and wrongfooted goalkeeper Lorena.
Paví was substituted on 72 minutes and Brazil levelled the scores three minutes later when Houston Dash defender Tarciane made a run to the near post and headed Yasmim’s corner into the net.
The two sides meet again in a second friendly at the same venue on Tuesday 29 October.
Forward Riko Ueki started for Japan in their 4-0 friendly win over South Korea at the National Stadium in Tokyo.

Li Mengwen’s China scored a 3-0 victory over Uzbekistan at the Yongchuan International Tournament in Chongqing.
Wang Yanwen opened the scoring on 29 minutes before Chen Qiaozhu and Tang Jiali added further goals for the home side after half-time.
China face Vietnam, who defeated Uzbekistan 2-0 in their first match at the three-nation tournament, on Tuesday, with the winner taking the title.
