West Ham United Academy forward Callum Marshall made his home debut for Northern Ireland as they beat San Marino 3-0 in a UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier at Windsor Park on Saturday afternoon.
In his second senior international outing following his debut in June, Marshall was introduced with 63 minutes played after the hosts scored two first half goals at Windsor Park.
Marshall almost scored his first international goal but his diving header was saved by San Marino goalkeeper Elia Benedettini.
Conor McMenamin then added Northern Ireland’s third late in the second half to seal a second win of this UEFA Euro qualifying campaign.
Elsewhere, Nayef Aguerd played the 90 minutes as Morocco played out a 1-1 draw in an international friendly against Ivory Coast.
Former Hammers striker Sébastien Haller gave the Elephants the lead late in the first half, but Aguerd and Morocco would not be denied, fighting back strongly after the break.
Olympiacos forward Ayoub El Kaabi struck eight minutes from time to ensure the spoils would be shared in Abidjan.
