West Ham United women’s team got down to work in Perth on Monday.
After arriving in Western Australia on Sunday evening for their ten-day tour, boss Rehanne Skinner put her players through their paces on the grass at their adopted home of Macedonia Park.
The session kicked off with a Welcome to Country by Noongar Elder Aunty Millie Penny AM and her sisters Marie Walley and Kay Walley Elder, before the players engaged in a number of on and off-the-ball drills.
A host of smiling supporters in attendance were given the chance to meet the playing and coaching staff after the work was done and dusted, with the Hammers squad posing for selfies, signing autographs and handing out goodie bags.

West Ham United women’s team are contesting the Perth International Football Cup while they’re on tour Down Under, first taking on French Division 1 Féminine outfit Paris Saint-Germain at 6.15pm AWST on Thursday 29 August at HBF Park. The winners of that game will take on either Manchester City or Leicester City in the final, also at HBF Park, on Sunday 1 September, with the two losers meeting at the same venue in a third-place play-off.
Tickets for both matches are available HERE. We will continue to provide regular updates from Perth during the tour here on whufc.com, and on the Club’s official app.
