West Ham United’s Chadwell Heath Training Ground was a hive of excitement and activity as members of the women’s team squad returned for the first day of pre-season on Tuesday.

Those not involved in international action at the Olympic Games reported back for duty in east London as preparations for the 2024/25 Barclays Women's Super League campaign began.

New signing Kinga Szemik joined the likes of Amber Tysiak, Jess Ziu, Anouk Denton and Shannon Cooke in the gym and on the grass, while Dagný Brynjarsdóttir was also at Chadwell Heath, accompanied by her son Andreas.

The Irons’ work towards the their WSL opener away at Manchester United, which will be played at Old Trafford across the weekend of 21/22 September, starts here with an exciting pre-season schedule in prospect.

Rehanne Skinner’s side are set to head to Perth, Australia, in just over three weeks' time, where they will take on Paris Saint-Germain and one of Manchester City or Leicester City in the inaugural Perth International Football Cup. Tickets for both of those games can be purchased HERE!
