Riko Ueki's 95th minute equaliser saw the points shared as West Ham United women's team drew 1-1 with Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
In their fourth Barclays Women's Super League fixture of the 2023/24 season, the Irons started slowly, with Matt Beard's side having the better of the possession and chances in the opening half at Chigwell Construction Stadium.
His side hit the crossbar twice either side of the half time whistle, before edging ahead thanks to a strike from Marie Höbinger that nestled in the bottom corner.
Rehanne Skinner's Hammers reacted well, and started to grow into the game. Despite not creating too many opportunities on goal, they surged on, pushing Liverpool closer and closer to their own penalty area, before finally, the pressure told.
Ueki would be on hand to scramble in her second goal for the Club after the away side failed to clear a dangerous ball into the area - securing a point for the east Londoners in their final fixture before the domestic season pauses for the October international break.
