West Ham United women’s team were worthy 3-1 Barclays Women's Super League winners against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

After Nikita Parris cancelled out Shekiera Martinez’s opener in an enthralling first half, Rehanne Skinner’s side showed brilliant resilience to dominate the second period, and secured the three points thanks to goals from Riko Ueki and Viviane Asseyi. Victory moved the Hammers up to eighth in the standings, ahead of Everton.
