West Ham United U23s had to settle for a share of the points following a 1-1 draw way to Chelsea.
Sonny Perkins had given Mark Robson's developmental side the lead at Kingsmeadow with a cool finish early in the second half, following strong running and an excellent through-ball by Armstrong Okoflex.
However, the home side levelled on 75 minutes with a headed effort from Thierno Ballo, which found the net via the underside of the cross-bar.
The Hammers had to play the closing moments of the Premier League 2 match with ten men after Jamal Baptiste's dismissal.
