Mohammed Kudus, Luis Guilherme and Callum Marshall took a sightseeing tour of Tampa as part of West Ham United’s Sunshine State Tour.
The trio jumped on the Hammers’ branded team coach to visit the Florida city’s landmarks during a break between training sessions on Tuesday.
Kudus, Guilherme and Marshall dropped in to the Amalie Arena, home to the National Hockey League’s Tampa Bay Lightning, where they viewed the team’s three Stanley Cups, checked out the home locker room and were presented with a shirt.
From there, the players took in Sparkman Wharf and riverfront views along the Garrison Channel, and also stopped for a photocall at the iconic ‘TAMPA’ sign.
There was also time to visit the Armature Works, a former streetcar (tram) depot which has been transformed into a multi-use complex for the city.
And to cap an afternoon of exploring, the trio visited historic Ybor City, a historic neighbourhood which was home to the city’s cigar factories and welcomed thousands of immigrant workers from Cuba, Spain and Italy, and has now been turned into an entertainment hub.
Kudus, Guilherme, Marshall and their teammates will face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday 27 July in Jacksonville, before a London derby Stateside against Crystal Palace on Saturday 3 August in Tampa.
