Several West Ham United women’s team players have learned of who they will face for their respective nations in the upcoming UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 qualifying play-offs.
After navigating through their respective campaigns, Belgium, Republic of Ireland, Poland, Türkiye and Scotland all qualified for the play-offs, and will now need to tackle two rounds to see if they can secure a place at Euro 2025 in Switzerland...
How do the UEFA Euro 2025 play-offs work?
There will be two paths and two rounds in the Euro 2025 qualifiers. Each tie will be played over two legs.
In round two, the 14 winners from round one of the play-offs are drawn together in seven ties. Seven teams will be seeded based on their European Qualifying overall ranking. The seven winners will then join the already-qualified eight teams at Euro 2025, plus hosts Switzerland, who qualify automatically despite competing in qualifying.
