Hammers draw Arsenal in Carabao Cup fourth round

West Ham United will face Arsenal in the fourth round of the 2023/24 Carabao Cup

The Hammers will host the Gunners in the last-16, having been drawn to face their fellow Premier League side in Wednesday's draw.

David Moyes' Irons entered the tournament at the third round stage, having been exempt from the second round due to the Club's involvement in the UEFA Europa League this campaign, and defeated EFL League One side Lincoln City 1-0 at LNER Stadium.

The Gunners, meanwhile, reached the fourth round following a 1-0 win over Brentford on Wednesday evening.

The fourth-round fixture will be played in the week commencing Monday 30 October. The date, kick-off time and ticketing details will be confirmed in due course.

West Ham have reached the final twice, in 1966 and 1981, losing to West Bromwich Albion and Liverpool on aggregate and in a replay respectively.

Arsenal have won the tournament twice, in 1987 and 1993.

The two London sides have met just three times in the EFL Cup, winning a third-round tie 3-1 in November 1966, but losing fifth-round ties in 1998 and 2017.
