West Ham United fell to a 2-0 defeat on a frustrating Sunday afternoon at Brentford.
Two goals in the game's third quarter - first from Bryan Mbeumo and then Ivan Toney - made the difference as the Hammers struggled to get going in west London.
Brentford looked the sharper side throughout and merited the three points which came their way - with only Saïd Benrahma's deflected effort in injury time coming close to cutting the arrears.
