West Ham United can confirm young midfielder Freddie Potts has joined EFL Championship club Portsmouth on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old will link up with John Mousinho’s Pompey and continue his development, having enjoyed a successful spell on loan at League One side Wycombe Wanderers in 2023/24.
Potts won the Player of the Year award with the Chairboys after helping Wycombe reach the EFL Trophy final at Wembley Stadium.
The Academy graduate was also part of the West Ham squad which won the UEFA Europa Conference League in 2023.
West Ham would like to wish Freddie all the best for his loan spell at Fratton Park.
