Mohammed Kudus in action for Ghana

Five more Hammers receive international call-ups

Five more West Ham United men’s players have been called up by their respective countries for games to be played during the November international break.

Mohammed Kudus and Ghana kick-off their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying Group I campaign with two ties.

Chris Hughton’s Black Stars host Madagascar in Kumasi on Friday 17 November before travelling to the island of Comoros in the Indian Ocean on Tuesday 21 November. Ghana and their two opponents are joined in Group I by Central African Republic, Chad and Mali.

Tomáš Souček and Vladimír Coufal have two vital UEFA 2024 European Championship Group E qualifiers to contend with.

Their Czech Republic side sit second in their group, two points behind Albania, and know victories away to third-place Poland on Friday 17 November and home to Moldova on Monday 20 November could see them finish top and secure automatic qualification should Albania not finish strongly themselves against Moldova and the Faroe Islands.

Dinos Mavropanos is in the Greece squad for their final Group B qualifying tie at home to France in Athens on Tuesday 21 November. A victory, combined with the Netherlands failing to win at home to Republic of Ireland and away to Gibraltar, will see Greece finish second and secure automatic qualification. Greece also host New Zealand in a friendly in Athens on 17 November.

Edson Álvarez is in the Mexico squad for their two Concacaf Nations League quarter-final matches with Honduras. Victory would see Mexico qualify for the 2024 Copa América in the United States

The first leg will take place in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, on Friday 18 November, with the return in Mexico City on Tuesday 21 November.

Nayef Aguerd (Morocco), Alphonse Areola (France), Jarrod Bowen (England) and Callum Marshall (Northern Ireland) have previously received callups for games to be played during the November break.
