West Ham United return to home Premier League action against Everton on Saturday, looking to bounce back from a 3-0 defeat to high-flying Nottingham Forest.
Two successive home wins in the league - against Ipswich Town and Manchester United - presents the opportunity for the Hammers to earn a third consecutive home three-point haul for the first time since October 2022 and move closer to the top half of the Premier League table.
It goes without saying that the Irons will need to produce a much-improved performance if they are to score a victory over Sean Dyche’s Toffees, who themselves have shown marked improvement in the last month after a slow start to the 2024/25 campaign.
Both sides will be full of individuals looking to provide the touch of magic required to make the difference on the day, meaning there are a number of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) decisions to be made in the lead up to kick-off.
With no lunchtime kick-off or Friday night football, the Gameweek Eleven transfer deadline is set slightly later than usual at 1.30pm GMT on Saturday 9 November, with kick-off at London Stadium set for 3pm later that afternoon.
While we will be giving you FPL tips and tricks throughout the remainder of the 2024/25 season on whufc.com, see below for some of our picks for the upcoming round.

Back to our Gameweek Eleven preview, and we’re looking for our captain to make an impact at home again…
Can Bowen's purple patch at London Stadium continue?
Jarrod Bowen (£7.5m) has been integral to our recent victories at London Stadium. The England international scored and provided an assist in the 4-1 win over Ipswich and then followed that up by netting a dramatic added-time penalty against Manchester United.
The 27-year-old, who ranks second among West Ham players for shots (behind Mohammed Kudus, who has taken six more), is the Hammers’ most creative asset, having supplied 23 chances, at least 14 more than any other player, and has amassed 47 points from his opening ten matches.
Bowen can continue his early-season purple patch at London Stadium against the Toffees, who have conceded nine goals in their first five away games.
Elsewhere, Łukasz Fabiański (£4.0m) retained his spot between the sticks against Forest after a fine performance at home to Manchester United, and our No1 made two incredible stops from Nikola Milenković and Ramón Sosa to keep the scoreline down against the Reds at the City Ground.
Opposition Watch: Everton
Everton’s Dwight McNeil (£5.8m) has emerged as an underrated Fantasy Premier League midfield option off the back of some fine recent showings.
Despite Everton’s struggles to pick up maximum points, McNeil has been one of the division’s most productive attacking midfielders across the first ten matches, and a recent tactical tweak in midfield by manager Dyche has brought the very best out of the 24-year-old in the early weeks of the 2024/25 campaign.
McNeil has registered 51 points so far this campaign, and the England youth international, who is owned by just 11.5 per cent of FPL managers, is expected to be a central figure, given that he is the Toffees’ main creative outlet from open play.
An alternative for Everton is veteran defender Ashley Young (£4.5m). The selection might come as a surprise to some, but the full-back has been a chain of consistency of late, posting high numbers that make him a spot of value.
The 39-year-old’s assist against Fulham late last month was his third of the season already, a tally that puts him level at the top of the charts among defenders, alongside the likes of Lucas Digne and Nathan Collins. He has three times as many attacking returns as players such as Trent Alexander-Arnold and Pedro Porro, who are the most sought-after defenders in FPL.
