West Ham United return to London Stadium to host Newcastle United on Monday evening, looking to extend our winning streak to three matches in the Premier League following back-to-back triumphs over Arsenal and Leicester City.
Following an impressive 1-0 victory on the road at Emirates Stadium on 22 February, the Hammers made it successive wins and clean sheets for the first time this season against the Foxes, pushing themselves up to 15th in the top-flight table.
Next up comes the visit of the Magpies, who are fighting for a UEFA Champions League spot this term. Newcastle have lost three of their last four matches in all competitions, including a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion in the Emirates FA Cup last weekend, but West Ham will be wary of the threats posed by a side who are set to face Liverpool in the 2025 Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday week.
There are still hundreds of FPL points up for grabs for managers who make the correct line-up decisions between now and the final Gameweek 38 deadline on Saturday 24 May. The Gameweek 28 transfer deadline is set for 11am on Saturday 8 March, ahead of a mouth-watering feast of weekend action that ends with West Ham’s Newcastle clash at London Stadium.
While we will be giving you FPL tips and tricks throughout the remainder of the 2024/25 season on whufc.com, see below for some of our picks for the upcoming round.

Bowen to continue his excellent form against Newcastle?
West Ham United captain Jarrod Bowen (£7.4m) has amassed 16 points in our back-to-back wins over Arsenal and Leicester, thanks to a goal and an assist. He can extend his run of influential displays against a Newcastle side who will be without key players at both ends of the pitch and may have one eye on that pivotal Carabao Cup final.
A home meeting with Newcastle gives Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£4.4m) the opportunity to extend his impressive record against the Magpies. The full-back has scored 50 per cent of his career goals against Monday's opponents, including his first for the Hammers in the teams’ reverse meeting at St James’ Park in November, and has supplied two assists in seven outings under Head Coach Graham Potter, claiming a bumper 12-point return at Arsenal in February.
Elsewhere, Mohammed Kudus (£6.2m) took the brave decision to admit he has yet to hit the heights expected this season in his programme interview ahead of the visit of Newcastle. But, the Ghanaian has a 100 per cent record in the Premier League against Eddie Howe's side, having scored two goals and registered one assist, including his first-ever West Ham goal in this exact fixture last season. He could be one of the best differential players in Gameweek 28.

Opposition Watch: Newcastle United
Howe's decision to move Bruno Guimarães (£6.1m) into a more attacking midfield role has made the Brazilian more of a viable FPL option.
Guimarães has been unleashed as the Magpies’ most offensive midfielder and has subsequently delivered two goals and three assists, while he averaged 5.8 points between Gameweeks 16 and 22.
He ranks as the joint-sixth top midfielder for big chances created this season with eleven, ahead of teammate Jacob Murphy (£5.1m), who is joint-ninth with ten.
Murphy, who must be in contention to win a full England cap later this season, has registered five goals, eight assists and has taken 31 shots on his way to amassing 98 FPL points so far this campaign.
Swedish forward Alexander Isak (£9.4m) looks set to start at London Stadium, having initially been considered an injury doubt. Isak claimed 13 points against Nottingham Forest in Gameweek 26, one of seven double-figure hauls he has accrued this season.
