Tomáš Souček celebrates his winner at Burnley

Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 14 & 15 hints and tips

West Ham United continue their 2022/23 campaign, with a duo of Premier League fixtures in quick succession.

As such, there are plenty of reasons for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers to cast an eye over Hammers players.

Gameweek 14 will see David Moyes' men host Crystal Palace looking for a third straight win in the Premier League, before Gameweek 15 sees a trip to North London on the following Thursday to take on Tottenham Hotspur.

Make sure you note the two FPL transfer deadlines, as Gameweek 14 will start on Saturday 2 December 2023 at 1.30pm, while Gameweek 15 begins at 6pm on Tuesday 5 December.

On whufc.com, we’ll be giving you tips and tricks and Hammers to watch across the season!

Across the next two fixtures, all eyes are on Tomáš Souček!

Big Tom!

Tomáš Souček (£4.9m) has been in inspired form recently – and the fan-favourite is back in the goals.

His run of late winners will certainly have FPL managers looking to work him into their team.

After Jay Rodriguez’s penalty on 49 minutes at Turf Moor last Saturday, a memorable turnaround was completed by Souček once more.

The Czech skipper volleyed home a delightful cross from Mohammed Kudus to secure the winner in consecutive league games.

In Serbia, Souček repeated the feat, finding the net from a whipped Maxwel Cornet cross late on to record an important UEFA Europa League victory.

Incredibly, Souček scored for the fifth straight game for Club and country, and goals against Nottingham Forest and Burnley have seen him record 48 FPL points this season.

Seeking to score for the third straight Premier League match, Souček will be confident of making an impact at London Stadium on Sunday.

With a small ownership of just 1.6 per cent, he could prove a huge differential in Gameweek 14 and 15.

Could he now make his mark in three successive London derbies?

West Ham United’s next three fixtures: CRY (h), TOT (a), FUL (a)

Opposition Watch: Crystal Palace (Sunday)

One player for FPL bosses to watch would be Odsonne Edouard (£5.5m).

The Palace forward has recorded 48 points across the first 13 Gameweeks and scored against the Hammers back in 2021/22.

Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone (£4.7m) has kept five clean sheets this season and has returned 51 points.

Impressively, only Allison (59) and Onana (52) have returned more in 2023/24, so looks to be a cheaper alternative between the sticks.

Crystal Palace next three fixtures: WHU (a), BOU (h), LIV (h)

Opposition Watch: Tottenham Hotspur (Thursday)

Following Harry Kane's move to Bayern Munich, choosing a Tottenham Hotspur attacker has been far more difficult than in previous FPL seasons.

Son Heung-Min (£9.6m) has seen his ownership surge to 38.4 per cent in recent weeks.

The attacker is a midfielder in the game but has been deployed as a No9 in recent weeks to return an average of 6.5 points per match. Only two midfielders average more.

He is likely to see an extended run of matches over the Christmas period too, with James Maddison (£7.9m) and Richarlison (£6.6m) out injured.

That means that Brennan Johnson (£5.8m) may be a player to watch in the next few weeks. He has started Spurs' last two matches and scored in the recent 2-1 win over Wolves in Gameweek 12.
