West Ham United earned a third consecutive Premier League win with a hard-fought 2-1 victory at Luton Town!
A trip to the newly-promoted Hatters at Kenilworth Road was always going to be a tough proposition for David Moyes' side, but the Irons took the advantage in the first half thanks to Jarrod Bowen's close-range header, from Lucas Paquetá's superb cross.
The advantage was doubled on 85 minutes when James Ward-Prowse whipped in a corner and registered his third assist in as many West Ham games, with Kurt Zooms rising highest to turn in the ball.
Luton netted with two of the five additional minutes played at the end of the second half as Mads Andersen scored the game's third header, ensuring a nervy final few moments for the visitors.
But the Hammers held on for a deserved win and head into the September international break on ten points from four Premier League matches played.
