Ghana international Mohammed Kudus enjoyed a fine first season with West Ham United following his August 2023 arrival from Dutch giants Ajax.
The 23-year-old had already notched four goals and an assist in the new season prior to his switch to east London, where he immediately showcased his quality with a brace on his full debut in Claret and Blue, at home to FK TSC Bačka Topola in the UEFA Europa League.
Besides contributing a total of six assists for the Irons during the campaign, against the likes of Burnley, Everton and Liverpool, Kudus found the target 14 times in all competitions, often in eye-catching fashion.
His stunning scissor-kick at Brentford won the Club’s November Goal of the Month award, while our No14 also won the March gong for his incredible solo effort against SC Freiburg, that was subsequently voted as the best in the Europa League throughout 2023/24 in a fan poll.
Kudus then treated the West Ham faithful to one more breath-taking strike away at Manchester City on the Premier League final day, with his acrobatic bicycle-kick taking his impressive goal-involvement haul to 20 from 45 appearances.
