West Ham United’s Elisha Sowunmi has enjoyed quite the start to life as a second-year scholar.
As development league action resumes following the international break, the 17-year-old is currently the joint top goalscorer in the U18 Premier League with ten goals to his name. An impressive tally which includes hat-tricks against Reading and league leaders Aston Villa. His goalscoring form has also translated to the Premier League Cup where he scored the Hammers' first in a 4-4 draw away to Everton.
