Emerson has been shortlisted for the Premier League Guinness Goal of the Month award for November for his superb strike in the recent defeat at home to Arsenal.
West Ham United's No33 helped spearhead his team's comeback attempt following a tricky start to proceedings against the Gunners, crashing in a stunning free-kick from around 25 yards just two minutes after his fellow full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka had scored to make it 4-1.
The left-footed, curled effort - that nestled into the net off the underside of the crossbar - marked Emerson's fourth goal for the Hammers, on his 95th appearance for the Club. He has a habit of scoring wondergoals, with his previous strike - against Brentford in February - having also been nominated for the Premier League's Goal of the Month gong.
This time, the Italy international has been nominated alongside Ipswich Town's Leif Davis, Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, Fulham's Harry Wilson, Wolverhampton Wanderers' Matheus Cunha (three goals) and Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho.
