Midfielder George Earthy has been presented with his Premier League debut ball after making his first senior appearance in the top flight against Fulham in April.
Earthy entered the field as a late second-half substitute to make his Premier League bow at London Stadium, only to be withdrawn in stoppage time after he suffered a head injury.
But the young Hammer returned to senior action a month later, at home to Luton Town, where he memorably scored his first senior goal for the Club.
Earthy timed his run impeccably across the penalty box and converted Mohammed Kudus’ cross with a neat first-time finish, sparking jubilant scenes in east London.
The 19-year-old, who signed a new contract at the start of the season, made four senior appearances for West Ham United in 2023/24, having made his debut against SC Freiburg in the UEFA Europa League and also featured off the bench at Manchester City on the final day.
After impressing with the U21s, scoring 15 goals in 31 appearances, Earthy received the Mark Noble Young Hammer of the Year award to cap a hugely successful campaign.
Everyone at West Ham United would like to congratulate George on making his Premier League debut!
