Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with Heineken...
West Ham United scored a deserved 3-1 pre-season victory over Aston Villa on a warm and sunny evening at Walsall's Bescot Stadium on this day in 2018.
Michail Antonio, Marko Arnautović and Robert Snodgrass were on target, while Felipe Anderson and Fabián Balbuena impressed on debut, as Manuel Pellegrini's side produced an eye-catching display.
Antonio broke the deadlock for the Hammers inside the opening ten minutes, when he received the ball on the edge of the box and took it past a defender before brilliantly striking a low effort into the far corner from a tight angle.
Anderson, who had joined from Serie A side Lazio, was instrumental in the Irons' second goal, as he switched the ball out wide into the path of Arthur Masuaku, and his cut-back found Arnautović, who prodded home from six yards out to hand Pellegrini's charges a two-goal lead.
Substitute Snodgrass added a third near the end after rounding goalkeeper Jed Steer, before Andre Green netted a mere consolation for Villa.
