There seemed little danger when the midfielder collected the ball from Manuel Lanzini midway inside the Spurs half, but he has other ideas, thundering a right-foot strike high past Hugo Lloris and into the top corner of the net.
The goal came against the run of play, with Obiang's shot being West Ham's first of the game in the 70th minute, by which time Tottenham had produced 20 goal attempts!
