Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with Heineken...
West Ham United concluded a difficult campaign with an inspired 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, courtesy of a Frank McAvennie hat-trick on this day in 1992.
The Hammers, who had already seen their relegation to the Football League First Division confirmed, produced an outstanding second-half display to blow the visitors away at Boleyn Ground in what turned out to be McAvennie's final appearance in Claret and Blue.
The Scot signed off in style with three trademark finishes to rapturous applause from the Hammers faithful.
