Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with Heineken...

West Ham United recorded a first Premier League win of the 2020/21 season in style, securing a 4-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on this day in 2020!

The Hammers carried a menace to their play all night and peppered Rui Patrício’s goal throughout the 90 minutes.

Jarrod Bowen’s curling finish was all they had to show for their efforts in a dominant opening period, but they found the clinical edge they needed after the break to leave Wolves deservedly well-beaten.

Bowen made it 2-0 with 57 minutes played, showing his predatory instincts to follow up after Pablo Fornals’ shot hit the post and knock into an empty net, before Tomáš Souček’s header flicked off Raúl Jiménez and flew into the net for the Hammers’ third.

Sébastien Haller then came off the bench to score his fifth goal of the season in added time as the Hammers earned a well-deserved victory.
