Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with Heineken...

West Ham fought back from a goal down to beat Leicester City 3-2 at the Boleyn Ground and move up to sixth in the Premier League on this day in 1998.

Muzzy Izzet gave the Foxes the lead after 28 minutes but the visitors were ahead for only nine minutes as Paul Kitson turned in an equaliser.

After the break, Steve Lomas put the Hammers ahead in the 56th minute before Frank Lampard all but sealed the win when he scored with 14 minutes remaining.

The midfielder then scored an own goal to set-up a grandstand finish with three minutes of normal time remaining but Harry Redknapp's side were able to hold on for victory.

This was to be a season to remember for the Hammers as we recorded an excellent fifth place finish in the Premier League.

Enjoy that win over Leicester again in the video player above.
