Two fantastic finishes from French phenomenon Dimitri Payet gave West Ham United a 2-0 win over Newcastle United on this day in 2015.
The Irons had already secured brilliant wins against Arsenal and Liverpool in the early stages of the 2015/16 campaign, and continued what would transpire to be a memorable season with a deserved win under the lights at The Boleyn Ground.
Payet gave the Irons an early lead, superbly curling the ball past Tim Krul from the edge of the area after Mark Noble's low cross.
The Frenchman, who was named the Premier League Player of the Year at the London Football Awards in March 2016, grabbed his second with a rebound after Victor Moses had hit the cross-bar.
Victory would put the Hammers fifth in the Premier League after five games played, in a season that will always be fondly remembered by the Claret and Blue Army.
